SWEL Bilingual Preschool

How old does my child have to be to enroll in SWEL?
Children can be two and a half years old to be at SWEL, however the scholarship are only offered for children who are three or four before August 31st.

How soon should I submit an application?
Applications are due the beginning of April, however we continue to accept applications beyond that date until classrooms are filled. Once classrooms are filled, children can be put on our waiting list but families can turn in an application prior to April to be put on our waiting list. While a child’s position on our waiting list is one factor we consider when making enrollment decisions, we also strive to create a balanced classroom in terms of gender, age range, and diversity.

What are some resources to help cover additional tuition costs?
The city of Seattle helps us cover some costs for families that qualify. The Seattle Preschool Program is a program that works with SWEL to cover costs, for families who qualify for Part Day ECEAP, the ECEAP program helps cover tuition for those families.
